I just finished my Sophomore semester in college.
In my first two years of college I completed 89 credits of classes through a winter session, a heavy-loaded summer and heavy loaded semesters.

My GPA has been consistently rising since my first semester until my most recent semester.

Overview:
1st: 3.7
2nd: 3.8
Summer: 3.9
3rd: 3.9
4th: 3.5

While my cumulative GPA didn't take that bad of a hit, will Medical Schools be concerned that I "crumbled" under the pressure of my 4th semester which had my hardest classes?

Note: Please don't flame me, I am not "trolling" I am not "humblebragging" I am serious.

No you're absolutely fine. Same thing happened to me, a B- in ochem 2 and some A-'s got me a 3.55 in my 4th semester. Just bounce back and finish strong. Your overall GPA looks great.

I agree with Ismet, 3.5 is not a crash, just a dip, and a small one at that! Keep up the good work and you'll do fine!

First off, I'm pretty sure schools only see GPA on a year-by-year basis, not term-by-term.

Second, Lebron >>>>>>>> Kobe.... Refer to my sig.

This is a great point. AMCAS scrambles up the by-year data so much that it's very difficult for committees to see what you took when. Rather, they see that you took courses early, later, or in the middle of the career, but they don't get a by-semester breakdown, and it can be quite confusing.

Don't sweat it; You're gonna be fine.

No worries man, just make sure you don't continue any sort of downward trend and you will be set!

You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for the relief, I'll make sure to get back on track next semester.

I'm not a math major or anything, but last time I checked 5>1, right? Oh right. 😛
