Hey, so thanks to all of you who have answered various questions I've had over the past month or so. I always feel a bit guilty for posting questions all the time, but you guys are all such an awesome resource. 🙂 I'm taking the DAT tomorrow and I'm totally nervous. I've been studying for about 4 months, and the last two weeks I've put in 10-12 hr days. I've been getting about 18-19 AA on Achiever and about the same on TopScore, but I just finished my third practice test in Achiever and got 16, 16, 17 on the sciences. After seeing the science scores I was totally bummed and didn't even finish the rest of the test. (Achiever has them broken up into parts) I'm pretty much freaking out that I'm going to fail this thing tomorrow ... My goal is 20 AA, or higher if possible, but what should I think about the 16 science scores I just got? Should I start preparing to be disappointed? I really don't mind your honest opinions. Thanks!

Dude, if you have been getting 19's on TS and Achiever, you can expect to get that or higher. If you kept studying after taking those tests, there is no reason a 20 AA is not possible. I dont have Achiever, I have Topscore, so I dont really know how hard it is. But from everything I have read, plenty of people do poorly on Achiever sciences then destroy the DAT. Just calm down and do your best tomorrow. Worrying will do you no good.

PS I obviously cannot guarantee what your score will be, but honestly, a 19 AA or better is my prediction. Good Luck 👍

Yea...don't worry about it at all especially if you have been studying for 4 months. This is why people recommend not studying the day before...you are going to feel terrible. Get a good night's sleep and go kill the test tomorrow...do NOT go in expecting the worse because that's what you'll receive then👍 Good luck

I took the DAT yesterday dude and i had the same problem i was all down because i was crapping up achievers even though i was sure that i knew the stuff cold. To make a long story short i ended up with a 22 A.A. However my opinion of achiever is that it is a horible representation of the actual DAT it is much more difficult and it is a confidence kill4er. Dont get down on yourself achiever sucks. If you can do Destroyer you will be fine for the sciences.

Hey thanks to all you guys for your comments. klutzy I take inspiration from you especially -- Wasn't it you who came on here 3 hours before your test and asked about if you could void your scores at the end? I could tell you were pretty nervous, but then you went in and rocked it. I'll keep everything in mind you guys said and go try to put this thing behind me! Thanks. 🙂
