I have been investigating ICU fellowships recently and was wondering if anyone knew the hours for some of these places? CCF, UH, MUSC, Duke,Wake, UF, UAB? The only posting is on the Freida website but they are highly variable so I was wondering if anyone knew they were accurate?

seems to me like the CC fellowship here, CCF, is pretty reasonable. you rotate through a number of icus. While in the cvicu i don't think you have to take call at all. staff there are fantastic! theres cool toys like lvads, ecmos, artificial hearts there and big vascular cases etc. hours are 7-4 or once in awhile you are assigned to a week of lates and i think its 7-6 but honestly my fellow came in later and pushed lots of the work off on us residents. in sicu you do take call, but again staff is super cool. fellow call is usually only until midnight unless stuff is really really crazy, not too often. fellows supervise a CA-2 and intern in sicu. in general a pretty chill fellowship i think -- hours don't seem bad at all.
