My community college just denied my second appeal for financial aid (because I have over 90 units) and it sucks because I have to pay for it out of my pocket (not even federal loan will cover it) somehow.

However, Berkeley just gave me an admission offer for what I want to study.

1) Should I move to another CC district?
Pros: might be free and able to take Gen Bio/Phys/Ochem
Cons: If not, I have to pay for CC without federal financial aid (I assume)
+ have to travel further down (1 hr travel time.. sucks- 2 hours of my daytime wasted)

2) Go to Berkeley?
Pros: pre-reqs done @ 4 years
Cons: Might have to apply a year late (credit overload)
+ have to pay $12k with student loan for just 17-18 year.

3)Stay at my CC
Pros: Less travel time
Cons: pay out of my pocket, if 1st and 2nd appeal for Fall semester are denied.

Are you doing a postbac?
Yeah, I can't exceed 130 credit. 70 Credits will transfer over and 40 units Upper Division - 110 credit.. That's only 20 other credits remaining.
Assuming I'd take 9 units of Bio and 8 units of Physics, I have to take Ochem after I graduate.

Ok, that's not a postbac. You're still working on your bachelor's.

So, you're asking if you should defer your admission and finish your prereqs at CC. Or try to squeeze it in after transfer even though you may have one class left over. Do the latter.

Oh you meant if I am going to Cal for postbacc. For that, no, haha. I meant that I'm transferring.
Yeah, I will either leave out Physics or Ochem. I'd rather do Physics at Cal and take a break from Chemistry for a while. Then after graduating in 2019 summer, I'm gonna take Ochem separately. Then I'm gonna apply in 2020, not 2019.
