I can only speak through my personal experience but I was given a paper by my local university that outlined what you should not take at a CC.
Okay at CC: (according to the person who put together the paper)
Biology 1 and 2
Chemistry 1 and 2
Math up until Trig
Not okay at CC:
Organic Chemistry 1 and 2
Physics
Cell Biology
Pretty much it was the pre reqs that were lower on the totem pole that were okay to take at CC and that you should always do them in sets. For example If you take chem 1 at CC it is best to take chem 2 at the same place. But this isn't any official rule. I also was able to ask the dean of the med school and he told me that THEY don't even spend a single second discussing CC. He basicaly said it did not matter AT ALL. Of course he doesn't speak for every med school in the US. Overall, if you have the choice it's better to just go start to finish at a university to play it safe.
It's funny cause I'm doing it the opposite way. I did Gen Chem 1 & 2 (and labs), Gen BIO 1 & 2 (and labs), Physics I (and lab), and Calculus at my undergrad, but as I'm graduating this May and I decided to pursue Medicine at the start of my Senior year in undergrad, I'm going to be taking Orgo I & II, and Physics II at a local community college.
The consensus opinion seems to be that you should have some classes (if not the majority) of classes taken at a university, to prove that you can "handle" it. Also, you shouldn't take prerequisites at a community college, if you're already enrolled at a university, as that may seem like taking the "easy" way out.
Honestly, though, I would recommend what others previously have said on the subject, which is just contact the med schools. They will provide their opinion, and be more accurate than any of us can be. I've contacted multiple, and some have told me that they place more emphasis on university courses, but that it wasn't a big deal, and others have told me that it doesn't matter.
