hey,
i was complete 11/1 and i got a letter in the mail today...scheduled interview for 1/11

they take a long time to make a decision, unless you interview close to their monthly meeting. i lucked out, and interviewed 2 days before they convened and heard within 2 weeks.

over all the interview was wierd. sad too, cause i really liked the school and will go there if i come off the alternate list soon and am not accepted into NYCOM or PCOM. the students are cool, the dean is amazing, but it was a cheesy interview. i flew all that way, spent all that money, and all they asked me was stuff they can read on my cv. i was kinda mad, especially when i found out i was an alternate. i talked to interviewees later that day, and many of felt the same way. but im probably bitter hehe.

Your interview was cheesy? They straight busted my balls on my interview. They asked a ridiculous amount of questions including, "what do you think about Jack Kevorkian and PAS?" Then they asked me whether or not I would administer birth control to my hypothetical friend's hypothetical daughter.

I did NOT feel good about the interviews because they ganged up on me and I felt they were unfair. Fortunately though, they liked what I had to say because they let me in.

My interview was the same day as Buckeye, but my 3 interviewers didn't bust me up too much. Just some questions like "If you had a conflict with one of the residents, how would you deal with it?" and "If you were a family doctor and you were told by your business manager that a family, who you had been patients for a long time, was behind on payments and didn't have insurance. What would you do?"

It'll warm you up alright 😎

thanks for the info, everyone.

anyone have stats on the number of people accepted that interview....

thanks!
