Hi everyone! Thanks for the posts. I wish I discovered sdn earlier in the USMLE road.
I've begun doing the practice cases and I have some questions about how to go about it
a. Is it better to just write all your orders all at the same time ala admitting orders? And then cancel off as things develop. The computer all regusters them on the same simulated time. I know in reality it's impossible to get all these done in a second...
b. what's the best means of forwarding the case? get next result? or do you input the time?
c. for opd cases, is it ok to change appointment scheds? i.e. you scheduled him to return th next week, but now you realize you want to do a colonoscopy? I guess I havent had that much OPD follow up experience so Im not really sure how to go about it.
d. early referrals ok? i.e. Gi case, refer asap to GI?
I know these are all "dumb" stuff that I should figure out as an intern, but Im taking it before so I d really appreciate your inputs. Thanks!
