Am I the only one who finds the CDP hole punching insanely difficult? I've done Kaplan and Barron's and had NO trouble with those (though I have heard they are too easy); I usually finished hole punching in 10 minutes or less...I was doing a CDP test today and hole punching took about 18 minutes to finish all problems! Anyone else feel this way? For those who have taken the DAT and worked with CDP- is this section comparable to the real DAT?

I haven't taken the DAT yet, but I feel the same about hole punching. I had never missed one (I was using Barron's) until I got CDP. Thankfully, I've gotten a bit better at it! I hear that the real DAT doesn't have half-folds....so that will make it a bit easier I think...atleast I hope!

Oh, and I had another question...before I got CDP a few days ago, I was under the impression that it had explanations and things like 3D shapes for TFE, but I can't find any explanations. What program has PAT visual explanations??

Crack DAT/PAT does...at least the royal flush edition did. after you take a test, you can review the solutions, which will show you a 3D image

Ya, I remember CDP Hole Punching was pretty intense compared to the hole punching on the actual DAT. However, if you can master the CDP Hole Punching, the actual DAT PAT section of that will seem much easier. I'd suggest using the grid method, if you don't know what that is... just draw out a grid (4X4) I think it was... then just fill in quickly with a dot from your marker during the section and figure it out that way... it worked pretty well for me!

Yeah, I just took the Crack DAT PAT Test #2 and well, I went over time and still only managed 18 lol.

Yes! KAPLAN's PAT is a joke compared to the real thing. CRACK DAT PAT seems to be a more realistic representation of the real test. I felt like the hole punching on CDP was a bit harder than the real exam, but it's a great way to prepare for it.

haha i was thinking the same exact thing. I was getting like 1 or 2 wrong in kaplan and barrons and got 9/15 on the first CDP.
Those half folds came out of nowhere, but I'll be expecting it next time.
Are they really not on the DAT? I hope not
