Yeah I'm kind of curious how CDP scores correlate with actual scores on the DAT.

I've gone from 17, 18, 18, 22 on the tests I've done so far so I know it has been helpful.

Any input out there from SDN land?

There are many topics related to this already, but here is the breakdown.

CrackDat is harder on all sections except for Angles and Pattern Folding. The cubes in crackdat are pretty similar except for the illusion ones which will not be on the test.

The pattern folding on Crack is much much harder than the real test so dont fret this section at all, but for Keyhole and TFE make sure you are getting at least 10-13 correct with CrackDat if you want to do well on the real test.

Like I said the real test is easier but you still should have a way of addressing each problem systematically. I got a 21 on the real test a week ago and I was getting between 18-20 on average on crackdat. i got a 24 randomly on one of the practice tests.

The main thing for me is I am terrible at angle rankings and Im guessing i missed at least 8 on the real test otherwise I would have done much better. I felt that the real test was completely obvious for keyholes, pattern folding, cubes, and pattern folding. The only thing that took any "thought" for me was the TFE which is just a weird concept to visualize, and the hole punches (which only take time to figure out). Other than that the test was much easier than any practice!!
