I took 3 of the CDR and got 19, 15, 15 respectively. The last time I took the DATs I got pianoed and got a 17. Should I be worried about CDR results? Also, which test prep has a good representation of the questions asked? I have yet to take any tests from achiever, and I blew off RC the last time I took it and would love to hit a 19+ on RC.

I am following the modified Vipers stratergy and this seems to be ineffective with CDR. Should I purchase topscore again? I don't think it has changed much since the last time I took it and would like to save money if possible. Please offer some advice! Thanks!

Don't buy topscore again. Use CDR -many people say that it is similar to the real test. I was scoring a 17 on CDR, but am now up to a 20 - even on the crazy 8-10 test with 22 paragraphs. Lol. I think you should find your own strategy. I kept trying to use vcvipers strategy, then just s&d, but nothing worked. I then decided to read 3-4 questions at a time and go through the passage. This worked for me. Try different stuff and see what works. Also, lucks matters - if you get the piano or not. I don't think they have the ethics passage anymore, so you don't have to worry about that one.

Cool Thanks!

I took the topscore tests 2 years ago, would getting it again to practice the science sections/math be worth it?

I only have the 2 tests left on CDR, should I fork out another 30 bucks for another 5 tests? I don't seem to learn much doing them. What do u reckon?

CDR is very similar to the real DAT. The only difference is that the search and destroy type questions are not asked in order. The level of difficulty of the passages are nearly identical. The tone questions they ask you on CDR are exactly the tone questions on the DAT.

I thought CDR was very similar to the real DAT RC section, if not a smidge harder. For the most part, doing well on RC is just a matter of finding a technique that works for you. CDR passages are similar in length, and mostly similar in content type.
