When i saw that 20 i was 😱 this might be a funny thread from a ***** happy about some fake DAT exam scores but for a language i learned the other day, am very proud of this and a 20 on the real thing would make my day the happiest ever
sooo i wanted to ask!!

How comparable is it to the real thing? I don't search and destroy. just read and answer questions the best i can. Where do you guys see me? The scores seem very consistent.

Any inputs or any warnings are welcome! thanks!!

i'm struggling in RC...can you share how you are approaching this section. i haven't quiet yet mastered this language english yet.

Hahah me neither, your not alone don't worry. Perhaps we shouldn't go so crazy about this section. I have spoken to people that really know what they are talking about and all we need to be safe is an 18. Reading comprehension really measures how much you of a reading habit you have had in your life. There is just so much that people like us, that i suspect dont read very often just because we dont like it, can do. And they are aware of that, not all of us like reading the whole selection of the lord of the rings lol.

With that in mind i also have another suggestion. DO NOT DO SEARCH AND DESTROY. THats taking a gamble... is like saying i am going to study only for the skeleton and respiratory system for biology and not the other because thats what is going to come up. THis section is not meant to be a word finding puzzle. Is meant to be read, understood as best as possible first time around, and answer question. I am not wasting my time, nor passages on search and destroy and it was rough at the beginning but you WILL start feeling more confident, just like PAT. Read as quick as you can and just CONCENTRATE FOR 60 MISERABLE MINUTES. Concentrate and try to remember where you saw what. YOu also start learning what things are relevant and what things are not. For example quotes... When i see a quote i completely skip it because i willl remember where is at.

20 is not the best in the world and perhaps i shouldn't say much, is like a skinny guy talking about exercise. But i beleive that we can do just enough by doing what they want and feeling safe about it. SandD is a gamble. I am going for my for sure 19! lol

Thank you for the response. My first Crack DAT Reading was a 17. I missed about 19 questions I believe. I ran out of time towards the end, and completely started doing search and destroy for the last ten minutes. It didn't work out quite as well, as you can see. So I am really trying to aim for a 18 or so on the real thing. I don't want reading comprehension to definitely pull down my academic average. Sadly, I never read more than three novels in my entire life. So I am just going to keep on practicing to build up my pace because I know I can answer pretty much all the questions, it is just that I need to build my speed.
