How do they compare...? CDR has so many inference and almost no search and destroy questions..... Plus i hate their logic for things and their inference question, me and the program seem to have different opinions on lots of questions and it's so damn frustrating. I see their points in some questions, yet they do not use that same logic of their own in other questions. I have so many examples but im assuming most of you wont want to read a whole passage just to sympathize or not with me.

So anyway, how do they compare? How did you guys feel about CDR?

I only took one CDR, it was mostly comprehension. My DAT was probably 12 questions search and destroy and 4-5 questions on tone/inference. Both were easy. The best strategy I thought was to take your time to read the passage, then just run through the questions. It was the least stressful method for me, as I wasn't jumping around trying to find a fact and freaking out when I couldn't find something, because I had an idea to where everything was in the passage.

The search and destroy on my DAT wasn't just pick out the same sentence though like qvault. The answer was often reworded, but it was still essentially search and destroy.

Thanks this is what I was looking for. That is my strategy too, so much easier on the nerves and the worry of did I or didn't I overlook what I'm looking for. I feel great on timing with CDR, it's their stupid answers and explanations with makes me feel like they could justify about any choice they give. Hopefully I'm not misguided on this.

Thanks, you've reaffirmed how I feel, ill do my best with this CDR then maybe get the next best RC material and practice with those. Hopefully CDR is harder than actual DAT.

I had plenty of time to read through the entire passage first and was able to answer all the questions on the real DAT. I agree with GatorD with the ratio of search and destroy and inference questions.
