Hi all. Does anyone know of any schools that offer cell biology courses online in spring 2016? I just got an interview offer from a school who has cell bio as a pre-req. In my VMCAS application I put down cell bio, physics 2 and microbio with lab as my spring 2016 courses. I absolutely need to take microbio (for schools and by degree) as well as physics 2 for the majority of schools I am applying to. I unfortunately could not enroll for cell biology as its' time conflicts with physics 2 lecture. We did cover cell biology in my introductory biology course but I'm worried that would not be enough since the school lists cell biology as a separate pre-req. I believe my only option is to take the course via distance learning in the spring so is anyone familiar with such a program? Thanks!

Thank you both for the help! Guelph does not seem to still have the course online but looks like both UCSD and UCB are solid options. Thanks again!

I know this is kind of a late response, but Washington State University has an online course during the Spring. You could take it as a non degree seeking student for the credit, and I've heard good things about it from my classmates who took it. It's called MBIOS 401

Need to be sure the school that requires it will accept it online. UGA does not accept some online classes.
