Cell phone service??

HI,

I may be going to SUNY, Buffalo this fall and wanted to know which cell phone service plan is best to use over there? Anyone from Buffalo or familiar with the service there??

Im in albany, about 4 hours away from Buffalo, i have t mobile and its fine. Try looking at the diff providers websites and see what their coverage is for Buffalo. I imagine that coverage in the city is fine, but if you venture out a bit, its probably poor. Maybe try emailing the diff providers and ask them to provide info on the Buffalo area.

Actually i live in Buffalo and I use t-mobile. I like it a lot. Not only does it work in the city but also in all of the suburbs in erie county. If you get a national plan, you can go to most cities and it will work and it just counts as your regular minutes. It does cost more if you go over the border to canada. But I also hear Verizon is good, stay away from Cricket although it is unlimited minutes for cheap, the service is really bad.
