Im new to this step 2 stuff and just wondering how do you guys study for step 2? are there must have books like there are for step 1 (FA and goljan)? is there a central text for step 2 like FA for step1 where we can annotate all of our notes from other resources into 1 book? for example, where do you annotate UW notes onto?

None of the books are superb. Annotate into whatever you want. It's not like step 1 where you really need to plan out your sources. Just pick any of those textbooks, do world, and read secrets. For extra points at step up to medicine or a clerkship textbook on whatever you're weak in.

from my experience, kaplan notes are the most comprehensive, followed by FA, MTB3/2, I had a look at Step UP, and felt like it was 80 percent kaplan notes, but i would say it all depends on how much time you have, how much did you learn in medical school, etc. Step 2 isnt like step 1 in the sense that knowledge doesnt really equate to a better score, its more of a thinking game with this one.
