certificate program

Hello,
I was hoping to get some feedback from medical students & physicians about the program that AUA is offering to its students.
Here is the link that briefly describes what it entails: http://www.auamed.org/academics/clinical-sciences/fiu-hwcom/
Do you think having a transcript & certificate for core rotations from a FIU would be beneficiary for residency prospective in the future? Does this unique program make the chances of obtaining competitive residencies more achievable, considering the img student has similar stats as the applicants applying to the same residency program?

Thank you!

Exactly, very baffling. This program has been out for two years, yet no mention in the latest student hand-book, no real information on the AUA website, no mention of entrance criteria; number of seats available; what to do for electives after core clerkships are completed at FIH; what does this mean for chances on obtaining residencies; etc. According to fee schedule, one pays $5,000 per semester x 4 = $20k additional. So need to understand what this additional $20k investment mean for a student like me? Too many questions and too few answers. Needs to be communicated on Web site as well as Student handbook.

Sounds like you're still getting f*3ked, now you just pay a premium
