For the certiphi app it’s asking about all our addresses for the past 25yrs. I’m less than 25 and moved a lot in my infancy so I’m not sure how important this section is. I can list the stable houses I lived in the majority of my life but how important is it to get the places I lived in when I was a small child? Not really wanting to ask my parents to list out all the locations we lived at...

I'm going through the same problem, especially since my first house was a house in a different country lol... but the problem is when you try to go to the next section it says I'm missing a time frame and have to add something in, so I'm not sure how to get past that

Same - I moved 11 times before high school due to family issues and it will be nearly impossible to have the exact addresses and time frames. I can give a best guess on some but don’t want red flags popping up somehow because of it.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but for the addresses.. I think it’s one of those things where they encourage you to input as much info as you can, but by no means is it going to create red flags etc unless you were a fugitive during those years or something.

if anything, they will ask you for more info and that’s that.

I’m under 25 so the part I wasn’t alive for I put “no permanent residence.” They can do the math LOL

Yeah I considered doing that too lol, I just ended up moving back my first residence to the date they wanted to reach 25 years, they'll figure it out regardless lol

The page has instructions that specifically tell you to put your residence down as "no permanent residence" for the months/years prior to your birth... I think it's pretty clear what they want you to do.

That’s clear but the answer to My question isn’t

I unfortunately don’t have an answer for you, but I had the same situation as you (family lived in many places before I was about 5) and I ended up just asking my parents to give me a list. Took some time, but we managed, although if this is not possible for you I think giving Certiphi a call to ask would be best!

It is possible the thing is there making it so inconvenient

I had the same problem last time I filled out the Certiphi for a job. Noone remembered our old addresses. Nothing happened when I didn't add all of my previous addresses.

big yikes i did not notice this at all lol, think it'll be a major problem?

I have a feeling that for those born abroad, those w multiple residences across states, several jobs/roles post graduation etc.. the check might take longer than the traditional premed candidate... which is understandable

You also have to think that your credit history only goes back like 5-10 years? It's crazy for them to expect you to remember every address you've lived at over the past 25 years. I'm unsure if they'd even be able to verify that, haha.

*I also whine because I've moved >15 times throughout my childhood lmao

I still haven't gotten this certiphi email... Should I be contacting someone?

is it possible that the school(s) you’ve been accepted to do not require Certiphi? Check!

I used my credit report to get some of those old addresses that I could not remember apartment numbers from ~15 years ago. You could ask whoever lived with you to use annualcreditreport.com to check for old addresses (only works if there was a credit check though).

i dont think No permanant residence is an option. More than 15 years ago where we stayed Not sure. Did any body call Certiphi. It is not letting me move forward on the application.Until you fill in dates for the last 25 years.

I was able to pull most of my address using internet search. give the street name and city name, most of my addresses came back with door number , zip and other details. My dad pulled those addresses (older ones) for me. Just now submitted the certiphi.
