so in one of Chad's GC videos he talkes about oxoacid trends and i've never heard of these before and kaplan's GC didnt cover it.... do we have to know this or do you think he went over it for the mcat pple... i love chad!

All you need to know about oxyacids for DAT is how to name them(which is not hard) and also know that the more oxygen you have in an oxyacid, the greater the acidity (which is even easier) 😀
I've seen a couple problems on the destroyer chem over these trends. They're not difficult to learn, the more oxygens you have the stronger the acid is. And you can basically derive any other properties/trends (ie: conjugate base strength) from just that.
