Hey guys, I just wanted to see where I stand

I have a 3.52 GPA and 3.6 sGPA
I know its extremely difficult to chance someone based on GPA alone, but my EC's are above average (adcom told me this at beginning of semester) and I've had a great upward trend (3.5-->3.1 (rough 2 semesters here)-->3.8+ semesters)

Thanks

I'm assuming you mean 2.5 --> 3.1? Because 3.5 --> 3.1 obviously wouldn't be ideal lol. I guess I'll trust you when you say ECs are above average (it might help people evaluate you if you tell us specifics). The average MCAT for matriculants into DO programs last year was 26.5. If you are not a URM, you should be shooting for this. However, your GPAs are good enough where slightly lower should be fine. Also, some schools are more particular about MCAT and others more about GPA. If you are interested in specific schools you should tell us that too! 🙂 anyways, get around that MCAT and you will probably be fine.

No I did have a drop off from freshman year to sophomore year. I got a 3.1 and 3.3 in two semesters sophomore year, but followed it up with a really good year.
