I graduated with honors and have a 3.88 gpa and a 21 mcat. +1000 hrs volunteering/shadowing, great LOR's, tutor, and plenty of extracurricular activities. I would like to know if my high gpa will compensate for my terribly low mcat for any D.O. schools.

your chance at do schools are low. The average mcat scores of do matriculants range from 26-28, depending on the school. Your mcat score is well below the average. you may be lucky with a school like liberty or marian but even then, your chances are not good. You will certainly receive a lot of rejections from do schools.

I suggest you study for and retake the mcat. no way around it.

Only the newest ones. Autoreject at mine.

With how good your GPA is, it looks like you could get into some top programs if you did well on your retake.
