Hello,

Well Im a canadian, with a 3.4 GPA, 3.5 sGPA and last 2 years my gpa was 3.7, first year was 2.8. Good improvement.

DAT score: 26AA, 25 PAT, and 25 TS (SOOO HAPPY, BEST DAY OF MY LIFE)

I have amazing ECs, everything from student council, to volunteering in lab, to research, tutoring, president of clubs, senator, and on and on. I have about 2500 hours of volunteering, and ontop of that about 300 hours of paid research. I currently have 1 publication in cancer research, and a potential one on the way. I also have amazing reference letters from my profs and dentist (whom i shadow). Im applying today hopefully ill get it done by tonight. (i know its a bit late)...
I go to U of western ontario.

This might seem crazy, but what are my chances to top tier schools, and specifically HARVARD!

THANKS!

100% !!!

Those are excellent scores/stats!

Not sure how Harvard accepts applicants, but I am sure they want at least a 3.7 or something. I may be wrong.

I'm sure you will get in somewehre

Forget Harvard.

Your gpa is low for Canadian applicants. But your DAT and ECs are astronomical.

You're obviously smart. Why in the world didn't you just work hard in college in lieu of all those ECs? That way you'd have had a high gpa and been competitive for Canadian schools.

No matter though. You're probably gonna get into A US school. I don't know how many Canadians Harvard accepts, but if you were American the only thing keeping you from being competitive is your gpa.

Thanks everyone thus far.

I know my GPA is low, first year was just a bad memory now, but i didnt let it hold me back.

Anyone else wanna say their thoughts? please and thanks!

It is possible. Your EC and DAT is great. There is always a chance. Harvard looks at more then numbers.
