Average GPA, below average DAT. Good ECs.

I'd say below average, those low sciences are the killers.

ANy idea where youre applying?

I think you should be fine. Honestly just apply broadly and you should receive couple interviews. Plenty of people get in with similar stats. My only meh about your app would be the community service hours. I think 40 hours for 3-4 years is nothing. Is less than 1 hour per month. I would try to do more com service. Good luck to you 🙂

I know a dentist who got in with a 3.3 sGPA and oGPA, but she scored in the 99th percentile.... Those 17's are gonna weigh you down a whole lot. 600 hours of assisting though will definitely stand you out cuz they want people who know what they are doing already. My advice is to just apply smartly to 1 or 2 reach schools, all (or nearby) realistic possibilities, and maybe 1 or 2 meh-I'm-indifferent-to-but-wouldn't-mind-going-to-schools just so you have a larger chance of getting an interview. If you unfortunately don't land an interview I'd say retake the DAT to get those numbers up and/or look into a post bac. Honestly, 3.3 sGPA isn't bad at all if there are great DAT scores to back them up.

Not looking good, buddy. Might want to consider becoming a dental assistant.
