Hello,
I am currently a senior and trying to apply dental schools in this cycle.

My GPA is 3.67 and sGPA is 3.60 (a chemistry major)
DAT scores are

I have done 3 semesters of research, 300+ hours of shadowing, two mission trips to Haiti, volunteered at local community for more than 4 years

I would like to apply to
NYU
Stony Brook
Columbia
BU
TUFTS
Harvard
UPenn

Temple
University of Pacific
UCSF
USC

Western
University of Washington
University of Florida
Nova
Rutgers
Univ of Connecticut
Univ of Pittsburgh
Case Western
Univ of Michigan

the bolded ones are my dream schools.
What are my chances?

Thank you

Not sure about some of the bolded since your DAT does have a few weak spots (particularly the RC = 18 and Bio = 19).
Not sure about some of the unbolded state schools (like Florida and Washington); that's based on what state you are a resident of.

In any case, your chances are likely pretty good of getting in somewhere.

Some bolded schools are like Harvard, Columbia, Upenn?? Do you recommend to take DAT again?

Those schools like UoP, Harvard, etc want high DAT ranges, like >23 or >24
So it's a reach but I mean you could always apply and have those as your reach schools. Just make sure to include other schools with averages around your DAT range. Everything else looks great, though!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard from a former ADA president Harvard tends to have a strong emphasis on research for the 30 some people accepted?

I think you are correct. I hear they are very heavily research based. I don't know necessarily if you have to have done research in order to get in, but they like their dental students to do research while in dental school.

So do you suggest to take DAT again and get higher than 24? what about NYU and BU? what will be my match schools?

I mean, if those schools are the only ones you would consider going to, then maybe. Also, if you really want to spend the money and time again studying and taking that test, go for it. But honestly, you could get into other schools, and all you need is one acceptance 😉

UOP average AA is 22 currently so not above 23 🙂

We almost have the exact same stats. The only difference if I also have UW as one of my top choices (I am a WA resident). My AA and TS was 20. My PAT was 24 and RC was 22. BIO 20, GC 20, OC 21, QR 19. My GPA is essentially the same as yours. Many others on SDN have been telling me similar things regarding USC, UCSF, and the other schools on your list. I am still talking to advisors and different schools to see if a DAT retake would be worth it.
