Looking to get into a Midwestern State School such as U of I, Louisville, etc.
Liberal Arts Major with a Psychology Minor
100 hours Shadowing
President and Founder of the Pre Dental Society of my University (Started it up this semester, so not sure how impressive that is).

P.S. I feel like my ECs are weak, any advice on how I can boost them?

I think your stats are competitive enough, and having such a strong leadership position will certainly help differentiate your application. I'd roll with what you've done, and develop that even further. Participate with your club in your schools largest fundraiser, and strive to be among the highest raising groups. Reach out with your pre-dental society to health coalitions and other dental related organizations to see if there are ways for your club to build up the community. Just threw those out as examples, you can definitely show how you've taken an already great position and make it even more impressive. I feel like you already are in good shape, and if you capitalize on the strengths you already have, I could see your application being a no-brainer.

Thanks for the replies. Great examples and ideas DentalAptitude, i'll make sure to look into it a little more. I should probably focus more of my application on my leadership abilities as that will set me apart way more than my GPA.

Shadowing and ECs are a MUST. DAT is great imo (good job!!!). GPA is middle of the road for a non-hard-science major. I think if you can really focus on volunteering for a cause you love and shadowing all different specialities you'll be looking a lot better. Everyone was in a pre-dental/pre-health club of some sort. What makes you better? What makes you different?

Thank you for the response! What would set me apart in terms of the club would be that I founded the club and was the president of it. Good call with the volunteering, I'll look into that and see what my university offers.
