Hey guys,
So, here is a little background history about me. I am a junior at one of the top 5 public universities in the states. My current GPA is 2.93. Yeah, I know it is terrible because of my first semester at the university. I did really bad in my science courses, but no fails. I am aiming to get my GPA to at least a 3.1 by the end of this semester. It was not until the beginning of my junior year that I decided that I really want to do dentistry. My current major is an asian studies major. I am currently trying to complete my major and do not have enough time to take all my pre-reqs at my university, so I am taking some at a local CC. I am beginning to job shadow a dentist soon and will be doing it until application time (hopefully I have enough hours). Over the summer, I will be taking orgo at a CC to help my parents save money and will also be shadowing or volunteering. I do not care what college I go to for dentistry. I just want to get in because I really want to do dentistry for the rest of my life. some extra curricular activities that i have done are; president of a fraternity, in a progress of starting a new club on campus. Base on these stats so far, what can I do to improve my chances of getting into dental school? Thank you so much!
