I'm in a dual enrollment program in Washington State, and I am currently a Junior (in high school), but attend a community college full time for high school credit as well. I will graduate early my senior year, because I decided not to graduate an entire year early my junior year (letting the school district pay for another two quarters didn't seem too bad either : ]).
I was hoping someone could tell me if I stand a shot at transferring (as a sophomore, because I will have about 85 credits when I transfer) to schools like University of Rochester, Tulane University, University of Washington, and possibly, Cornell (College of Human Ecology), or other great schools.
As being a transfer student, I won't be required to take the ACT/SAT (I was surprised Cornell didn't require it, being an Ivy), it was "recommended" that I take it, but have already decided to avoid them.
My high school transcript is about average, I currently have a 3.58, with "normal" classes my freshman, and sophomore years, and a strong upward trend from my freshman year.
I am full time at a community college (15 credits/quarter)

Cell Biology Lab A-
General Psychology A
English Composition A-
Winter:
Business Law W
Macroeconomics A
Nutrition A
Spring (projected, this is the current quarter)
Abnormal Psychology A
Developmental Psychology A
First Aid, and Safety A
(No tests in the abnormal psych class, and the quizzes are very very easy, along with the case studies. Developmental Psych is on the same level as abnormal psych. First aid is also a joke, our anatomy test was identifying a humerus, tib/fib, radius, ulna, xiphoid process, etc. So I feel like my grade projections are pretty accurate).
My "projected" GPA after the spring quarter will be 3.85 (my school uses a decimal system on transcripts, with a key on the back, so my transcript will say 3.9, and on the back a 3.9 = an A, but I calculated it as to what it will say on my transcript).
Other things that I will have on my application is being a volunteer ski patroller for 3.5 consecutive years, research assistant at a top tier university for about 6-7 months, varsity sports, student intern at a national laboratory for a year (materials science laboratory working with a SEM/TEM). VP of spanish club, and supplemental instructor for gen. psychology (basically a tutor in the tutor center).
So what would my long shots be, just so I have an idea where I am at, and where to go from here (looking at schools).
