Hi, I have been reading around this forum but was unable to find this particular topic. During one of my undergraduate years, I was placed on academic probation and later, suspension which I was able to gain conditional reinstatement for. I had a lot of health issues/financial distress/and family problems going on during that year and I simply had a horrendous year however, I was able to pull up my grades thereafter at the same institution and maintain an upward trend. I have applied to several post bacc/smp programs (about 8) but would this prevent me from gaining admission? I have pretty low stats (GPA and MCAT) as is and I feel like adding this into an equation just leaves me in the dust. Any insight would be much appreciated.
Thanks
