I'd drop TX schools unless you absolutely are dead set on it, they have a massive in-state bias. 90% of their students are required to come from there.

Drexel, GW gets 10k+ applications a year. do you match loma linda's mission (religious school)? UWash favors residents of pacific northwest. You need to look at the msar and target schools within your range and accept a decent number of out of state students.

And you definitely do NOT need to do a SMP. your GPA is VERY GOOD, your mcat is decent. A quick look at your ECs show you are a good applicant. Just apply broadly and early in the cycle!

You do not need to do a SMP as you have a good GPA. No need to retake the MCAT either. Here is suggested list:
U of Nevada
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
New York Medical College
Hofstra
Albany
Quinnipiac
GW
Wake Forest
Tulane
Oakland Beaumont
Western Michigan
Loyola
Rosalind Franklin
St. Louis
Creighton
Rush
Medical College of Wisconsin
Any new private MD schools that open in 2016
Apply in June and submit all your secondaries by July and you should receive some interviews. You definitely need more clinical volunteering and physician shadowing before you apply though.

The SMPs are for people with dumpster GPAs and not five-star prospect GPAs like yours. Your subpar stat is your MCAT score. You can rectify this by retaking the exam, or you can apply to schools with a 30-32 average since your GPA is above the average of every school in the country, even Harvard's 3.91.
