Hello all!

I'm a couple of months into my prep and have taken three practice tests. Here is my breakdown:

- NS HL diagnostic (taken beginning of October): 499 (126/122/125/126)
- AAMC FL1 Scored (taken end of December): 510 (128/124/130/128)
- NS FL1 (taken today): 509 (127/126/128/128)

My test date is on March 24th. I'm currently working through UWorld (I have about 1/3 of it finished) and really trying to improve my CARS as it is so difficult for me.
I was wondering if I am in a good spot to score 520 or higher on the real deal. My original goal was a 515, but after seeing my AAMC score I decided to set a higher goal since I want to just give this test my best shot. Also, does anyone have any advice on how to maximize my score?

Thanks for your help!

If having a higher goal will motivate you to study harder, then set 520+ as your goal. If having a goal of 520+ will demotivate you when you "only" score ~515 on FLs, then adjust your goal. Ultimately, keep working hard on studying and give it your best shot whether you hope to get a 510+ or 520+. The MCAT does not care about your goal, only your performance on that specific day.

A 520+ is certainly possible, so do everything you can to strive for it.

Thanks very much for your thoughtful reply; I will definitely keep this in mind as I continue on this prep journey!
