I recently interviewed at CCOM, my interview went great but after looking at the stats of those of you application.

I recently interviewed at CCOM, my interview went great but after looking at the stats of those of you already accepted, I'm starting to think I might not get in. I have a 3.85 gpa, PS9BS9VR6=24O, great letters, great activities, leadership and research.....Do you guys think that since i was invited to the interview, the adcoms may look past that 6 in verbal? Do i still have a legitamate shot, the verbal is the only flaw in my entire application.

If English is your first language then I'm not going to sugarcoat it for you.....a 6 in verbal is hard to look past.

If you got an interview, then your grades are fine. The interviewers don't have your grades in front of them. All we have is information from your secondary and your personal statement from your secondary (why CCOM?).

could you tell us when the adcom meets this month? i interviewed in early feb. and am wondering when i'll hear.

you interviewed on the 31st, right? i interviewed on 2/2--we'll probably go to committee at the same time. i was told that they were interviewing one more week in feb., which i believe is this week. hopefully, the committee will meet next week, and hopefully we'll hear soon after. i'm tempted to call, as someone posted that they will give you interview feedback over the phone.

Yup... but I don't think I'll call... I don't need the unnecessary anxiety. Say they give you positive feedback, and then you don't get in. Or even worse, they give you negative feedback and then you wait out this whole week waiting for your stay of execution.
