Hey all, I've scanned a lot of threads about Duke-Nus, but I haven't been able to get an idea of what their academic requirements are.

My GPA is 3.55, BCPM also 3.55. MCAT I have 38S (BS/PS/VR: 13/13/12).

Research:
- 2 yrs research exp. in research lab, going for 3rd yr there (bio research, not med related)
- 1 publication (3rd author)

EC's:
- Founded student club at university.
- exec in other student orgs at university
- Hospital volunteering for 4+ yrs (discontinued this yr, but will pick up)
- many awards (including volunteer service awards)
- many mentorship programs (leadership roles in all)
- did some international volunteering

do you think it is worth it for me to apply to Duke-NUS...do I have any shot?

Appreciate the help

-N

EDIT: i should add, I'm a Canadian applicant.

Just out of curiosity, do you have Permanent Resident status? I'm a Canadian applicant as well but am a PR and have lived in the states most of my life(I went to high school and undergrad here). I'm just wondering if being a PR and not a citizen will hurt our chances at schools? Does anyone knowledgeable on the subject have an opinion?

No, I don't. I did all my schooling in Canada.
I'm not sure if you're considered an international applicant if you're a PR.
