Hey guys, im preparing to head into my junior year at my university and I was just wondering if some of you could give me some advice on how to improve my application for the 2010-2011 cycle.......

gpa 3.95
mcat: have not taken actual test, averaging 36 on practice exams
university: one of the top engineering schools
major: biomedical engineering
100 hrs of volunteer work at a hospital and nursing home
20 hrs of shadowing a primary care physician
tutoring local elementary school children
undergrad research: 2 years---no paper 🙁 ......... yet (neuroengineering)
jobs: chemistry and physics tutor
leadership: philanthropy chair of fraternity, greek week philanthropy committee, vp of a comm service club
hobbies: coin collector, tennis

Your ECs are looking good. Keep up the GPA, maybe consider shadowing one other type of doc (a day to a week for each specialty is fine), try for president of the organization where you´re VP, and take the MCAT before you forget something.
