Hey all,

First I wanted to thank everyone who post in this forum as users like jbizzle have given me hope of not giving up my dream of attending pt school.

A little backstory, my degree is in Exercise Science, and I recently took on a job with the government. Great pay but I find myself not satisfied with sitting behind cubicle walls. I travel a lot so retaking pre-reqs I did bad in is not really possible so instead I have been focused on retaking the gre( which I finished yesterday) and volunteering as much as possible. I will be applying to schools this cycle, here are my stats:

Undergraduate Degree: B.S. in Exercise Science
Institution: Florida State University
GPA: 3.18
Science GPA: Not so sure about this but hovering 3.0 or just below.
GRE: 1270 ( 660 Quant 610 Verbal AW: haven't received ) up from a 1040👍
Observational Exp: Around 50 hours in outpatient, peds, inpatient

I understand my GPA sucks. Sadly, most of my lower grades were in science/math classes and I can definitely say I was not focused at all in undergraduate until my junior/senior years. Working in a field I'm not satisfied in has definitely given me perspective and I know this will allow me to do much better academically. My science GPA took a huge hit because a lot of B minuses and that I got a C in Chemistry II, which is five credits. If I were to retake any course it would most likely be Chem II but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!

First off, I totally didn't create this^ profile.

You shouldn't have a problem getting accepted somewhere. Increase your observation hours and apply early and often as others have said is the best way to go.
