chances for competetive post bacc

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Wow I didn't realize postbacs are that competitive. With those scores you can get in a DO program and certain MDs already.

um, yeah, why arent you applying to med school?

This discussion belongs in the Post-Baccalaureate forum and is therefore moved.

apparently, my advisor doesn't even think i can make it in some post bacc programs, and it's scaring the crap out of me. any other comments about my chances?

he's dumb. i got into penn and lecom w/ a 29R and unspeakably low gpa (as in 2.8 overal, even lower science including failures in classes). apply early and you'll be more than fine

were you a resident of the schools you got into though?

i really appreciate all of your help.

does anyone know of any borderline pre-med students who got into specifically Georgetown and/or University of Cinn post-bacc program? if so, what are their stats?

Your stats are good enough for any SMP, and potentially some allo schools although it's a bit late to be applying.
