I dont know the ans to your ques regarding if tx schools accept nondegree seekers especially if youve taken most credits at CC. But from the looks of it, cant your get a degree with all those credits? I think you should still apply since you have a solid GPA and DAT.

Howdy! I've changed my major once and taken unnecessary classes here and there, so some credits weren't needed for my major. It turns out that I won't be able to fulfill all the degree requirements by the end of the Spring semester.

Well you can still pursue a degree and not actually finish it......as least theyll know youre working at it.

Also be careful when applying some schools have it as their requirement that you need to have a Bachelors!
