Hey guys sorry to create another what are my chances thread on here but I really am getting scared that I won't be able to get into med school in the Carribbean.

I have about a 3.68 GPA and about 400 hours volunteering in hospitals (senior home, facility for individuals with HIV/AIDs, and a children's hospital). I also have done some volunteering in a research lab and I have about a little more than 100 hours as a food server in a community center for people living in an impoverished area of my city. I have tutored children with disabilities and done some volunteering in summer daycamps.

I am a canadian (vancouver b.c) resident and I guess the main problem with my application is my MCAT score. I have gotten 25Q (7PS, 7VR, 11BS) and then AGAIN 25P (10 PS, 7VR, 8BS). I am so tired of the MCAT and I really can't do it again.

Is there any chance I can get accepted into either St. George Univesity or Ross University with my horrible, horrible, horrible MCAT score? I am going to apply for the 2011 August term.

Am I really far behind in applying for August 2011 already?

Any help would be much appreciated as I feel so scared and nervous about my chances!😕😕😕😕

Just apply. Your stats are good enough for Caribbean schools, but its getting pretty competitive down here too these days.

Apply to the big four and see what happens. Good luck.

You have a great shot at Carribbean schools. Don't worry.

August classes are competitive. But you should apply and find out. IMO, with 25, you have a shot at SGU's CFP.
