I know some schools screen out 3.6 and under, however I'm not sure if "multicultural male" means you identify as URM? I think theres a definition for that on their website- because that would be helpful in your case with such a borderline gpa.

Everything else looks really impressive and kudos on the publications!

Looks really good so far, I'd just aim to get some more clinical volunteering, and shoot for a 510+ on the MCAT!

3.7-cumulative GPA
3.5-science GPA
Major: Research Biology
*note- my first semester I was not sure about my career path, so my GPA was lower than it should be. After gaining the goal of medical school, it has been on the upward trend.
MCAT-have studied and practiced for several months. Obtaining 510-513 on practice exams.
Research-over a year and a half of research experience. Presented at three conferences. Two publications (one first author, one second author)
ECs: 1 year Lab TA, biology tutor, dance choreographer, playwright, freshman mentor, chemistry club, fraternity
200 hours of community service including a special needs program
60 hours of clinical experience volunteering at a hospital
60 hours of shadowing
Alabama resident, multicultural male(Hispanic, Asian, White)
When you have an MCAT score, then we can best advise.
