Your DAT looks fine but your science GPA and BCP are on the low end. Do well in your post-bacc to raise up the GPA as much as you can. If you get interviews, be prepared for questions asking about your GPA.

Can you post a short breakdown for your biology section? That's an amazing score!

Took DAT Sunday and.....
Bio 28
Chem 20
Organic 19
Reading 22
Quantitative Reasoning 21
PAT 21
TS 22
AA 22

Cumulative GPA is 3.21 andScience GPA is 2.99 but BCP is 2.88
I am a NC resident. I have applied to 14 schools (includes state schools UNC,ECU ....etc)
Strong EC's and will attend a 1 year biology-focused post-bacc at Mercer this fall.

Any thoughts about getting in this cycle?
You might get one or two interviews if you're lucky. Why not apply next cycle with improved science/BCP GPA?

Howdy, fellow NC resident! =D

I hope I get a killer score like you did on the DAT(especially Bio! What did you do to get that 28?).

The best thing you can do is take a year to buff your GPA.

Congrats on your DAT and best of luck to you!

I personally know someone with a 2.6gpa and 22 DAT who landed an interview at an ivy and another great clinical school in the area...even an acceptance. Their app went in late oct, and DAT taken early december. I hope this encourages you to apply this cycle, make sure you research each schools stats, apply to a bunch of schools

A 2.6gpa and 22 dat got an interview? really was he in state and/or went to his state schools

👍 you'll get some solid interview offers imho. Your DAT bio score makes you seem capable in the bio department.

:luck:
