I am ending my Sophmore year in college as a chemistry major. I like chemistry but I dont really like the stress that comes along with it. My ultimate goal is to go to medical school or work in the medical field, not to be a chemist.Would it make sense for me to change my major to something less stressful which could possibly bring up my gpa?

I wouldn't know what to change my major to because anatomy and physiology and chemistry are my favorite subjects; however, one isnt a possible major and the other is kind of stressful.

If you think you would do better under less stress and if this major is stressing you more than another major might, go for it. Pre-med requirements do entail some chem but not necessarily as much as a full major.
Is there a general bio degree? Microbio?
Assess the degree of difficulty of each by talking to advisors and to other students in the classes/major and studying the requirements

I recommend majoring in something you're interested in and would help set you up for a job (or grad school) if med school doesn't work out or you change your mind. I recommend all college freshen do the same when chosing majors--think of the career you're most interested in other than medicine, then get the degree that sets you up for that. Then do your pre-med reqs as well.

If you don't want to be a chemist, there's no point in getting a degree in chemistry.

As long as you finish in time bro
