I have the 2011 FA and I've read some reviews that about the new edition some good and some bad. I heard the major change is that the images once in the back are now included within the text and minor changes are made with some addition of information.

If there already is a post can someone tell me what all the changes are in the text from 2011 to 2012, I remember seeing one for 2010-2011

Is the 2012 worth buying? I've annotated a little in my old 2011 should I stop now and start a fresh with the new 2012 edition after buying that?

It's cheap. Is it worth it? Yes. Do you have to buy it to do well? No.

I've seen it and I liked it a lot. That being said I'm using the 2010 so I can use the DIT videos with it. If you're not doing something like that or using a specific qbank that references 2011 but not yet 2012 then I'd upgrade. What's $40 in the 200k you spend on school?

I'm keeping with the 2011 version because the errata is already known for it. Plus I started real heavy-duty step studying during Christmas break and I have no desire to transfer all my annotations to another book. It seems to me that all 2012 has to offer is pretty pictures. In a perfect world, the pretty pictures would come along with detailed errata. Errata for the FA versions usually aren't complete until the end of summer ... I'll be done with Step 1 by then ...

Also I'm sure FA 2012 has a tiny bit of new info. I'm pretty sure I'll come across that "new info" as I'm doing question banks, and I'm pretty sure I'll annotate them into FA 2011. So all in all, my decision to stay with 2011 really had nothing to do with money. I just decided sticking with 2011 made the most sense for my situation.
