Changes in ap bio 2014?

The title is self explanatory. Where there changes in ap bio test? If so, what are they. I'm working with students but not sure how the test changed. Thanks.

When I took the exam this year, I noticed that throughout the test, there was little that I could apply that I learned from class, which was frustrating.. As long as your students practice a lot of graph type questions and really understand the labs that they do then they should be fine. Also, there was a lot of ecology - type questions, which was strange..

I think it changed beginning on the may 2013 exam (lowest #5s in a while IIRC) It became more lab scenario based. I cannot speak speciifcally to the bio exam as i haven't taken it but for the Chemistry updated version the above held true on the exam. It no longer was enough to know surface details it now requires a deeper understanding and application which is not necessarily more difficult
