I was wondering if it is possible to change the planned coursework for the spring semester during the Academic Update in December?

I am PLANNING on taking a couple psych/soc classes during the winter session or spring semester, but I don't know the course numbers yet (no schedule has been posted, since it's still pretty early).

So should I just use the fall semester schedule and guess which classes I will be taking? Will I be able to change or delete classes during the academic update?

Thanks!

The course description in the catalogue includes whether the class is offered fall, winter, spring. If not, email or call the department.

I just called the school (a community college) and they said that the fall semester just started so there's no schedule up for winter session and spring semester, and there's no way to find out what courses will be offered until December.

Does anybody know if I can add classes during the academic update?

from the pharmcas website:

You cannot make edits to your coursework section, whether completed or planned / in-progress, until the Academic Update window is open AND your initial application has been mailed to your designated pharmacy schools. PharmCAS will contact you by email when the Academic Update is available to you. It is your responsibility to add any new courses completed since you first submitted your application to PharmCAS and to edit your in-progress and planned courses. PharmCAS will NOT update your coursework for you. You can only update your coursework ONCE during the Academic Update!

I think it safe to assume completed courses cannot be update, but planned/in progress courses can be. Even sounds like they are saying you can add completed courses that may not have been added as in progress first time around... So you should be fine. I have to change one of mine as well. Switched schools, taking same classes though.

Wow, I was looking around the PharmCAS website for that answer and wasn't able to find it.

Thanks a lot! 😀
