Changing after submission

Hello to all those who already applied or have in the past,
I would like to know if I can change my personal statement after it has been submitted to ERAS......or am I required to stick with what I have already submitted?
I have also read that others have been able to view their LORs that have been uploaded onto ERAS. I have mailed my letters over 3 weeks ago, and I am wondering how long it takes to see that these letters have been uploaded. I have waived my right to view the letter, would that inhibit me from finding out that the letters have been uploaded onto ERAS?

as far as checking to see whether your letters have been uploaded all you have to do is go to your ERAS front page and click on "track applications".
