Changing status

I've seen a few of you have changed your status from pre-dent to dental student. So as to set a precedent, I wanted get the public opinion on when the proper official time is to make the status change.

You can't contribute much useful information to the forum as a dental student until you have had a few classes and your first exam. Wait till school starts.

If you are in undergrad, stick with pre-dent even with an acceptance letter.
If you done with school and just waiting to start DS now then I would say it is alright to go with dental student.

Technically, we're not a dental students yet. I would wait till school starts, otherwise its kind of obnoxious. Its akin to walking around with a stethoscope on your way to orgo.
