Has anyone changed the testing center?

I registered my DAT on Aug 1st and want to change my testing center (but keep the date or around that week)
When I click reschedule, does it automatically drop my previous one or hold it until I change my testing center and press "confirm".

I'm worried if the test day is not available.

I would think that you'd have to confirm for it to be finalized. I went online couple times acting like I am actually scheduling a date to see what dates were open for the nearby centers.
