Has anyone heard back from Chapman??? Or should I consider myself rejected at this point? I've been checking my PTCAS email to see if I got any email from chapman there.... but so far nothing; and Chapman isn't really good at answering my emails....

If anyone received any emails from Chapman regarding acceptance/rejection/waitlist, how did you receive your notifications of status??

Thank you in advance!

No word here either.

I got an acceptance via my personal email (not ptcas) about a week and a half ago. I declined though, so there is one more spot open. 🙂

Bummer for those of us who haven't heard anything... anyone else heard anything or are the acceptances slowly trickling out?

Hey everyone. I heard back from Chapman today (2/18) for my acceptance into the program. Good luck to everyone that applied there and you should be hearing back soon. 🙂

Congrats. It was via personal email?

Has anyone else heard anything yet? I'm getting worried since Chapman received my official academic update Feb 10th, and I'm wondering if that's hurting my chances, since I have nearly identical stats to neha90210...

No action on my application yet... not sure if that means they've decided to hang on to it to consider acceptance/waitlisting or if that's just bad luck that they haven't gotten back to me yet. I wonder if their acceptance and eliminations are just in the order they received the applications or if the later you get rejected the better your app was.

Anyone know how this works at Chapman or other programs?

I got an acceptance last monday via email. The facebook page only shows 20, so I'm sure there are still plenty of spots to give out.

I just got my acceptance letter today 😀 A day after I thought I was crazy for declining Western U after initially wanting to stay in California...

Congratulations! Just wondering if you think what chances are getting into either the fall or summer class. I have 3.96 pre-req GPA and 151Q 151V 4.5 AW. I just want the stress to be over... and I really don't want to re-apply again in the fall.

I think you have a great shot tbh. From what I hear, they heavily emphasize on pre req GPA and the Q and V of the GRE.

Has anyone else heard anything from Chapman yet? Just went to their open house and Serena told me that applicants who applied to both cohorts (Fall 2015 and Summer 2016) she's being more flexible with, because she wants to make sure people who only applied to Fall are given a chance to get in.

This makes so much sense. Thanks for the input.

Damn, I applied to both but I'd rather start Fall 2015. >_<

Just got accepted literally an hour later after I posted that for both the Fall 2015 and Summer 2016 cohort. I get to pick which one I want to attend, and I'm going to be attending the Fall 😀 Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations! How did you find out? Was it a phone call or email?

Did anyone hear back from Chapman yet?? I'm getting a bit worried!

Based on the Facebook page, it looks like the fall class is all filled up :/ did you apply to summer 2016? Congrats to those who have made it in!

Ohh really? That makes sense...I did apply for summer 2016, as well. Do you happen to know when they inform those people??

When I was accepted I got to choose between the Fall or Summer cohort, so I'm pretty sure that goes for anyone else that was already accepted too. From what Serena told me before, she said she would send out the decisions specifically for the Summer class starting in June. It's possible that some spots could be taken already for the Summer class, but I'm sure it's not even close to full, and there are plenty of spots left for it since I think most people who wanted to go to Chapman accepted the Fall offer. As someone said, our Facebook group is already full, and it doesn't seem like anyone will be dropping, but I wouldn't lose hope, since you always have a chance at the Summer cohort. Good luck with the waiting process and don't go to crazy like I did!

Thank you! I guess I'll just have to wait ^^

I hope those who didn't get in for the Fall cohort get a chance for Summer! I'm so nervous and stressed out waiting to know >_<

I was accepted 4/6 for fall, last but not least I guess ...super excited. Good luck to everyone!

Got accepted to Summer 2016 today. Going to decline though. FYI, I emailed Serena to get a response so if yu haven't heard anything yet then email her asap.

I'm applying this upcoming cycle and would like to know if you can share your stats with us! Thanks!!

Anyone know the chances of being accepted from the waitlist????? =(

I was also waitlisted. I called to find out my position and they don't disclose what number you are. They did tell me that there are 130 people on the waitlist.

I applied for both Fall and Summer, but I haven't received anything from Chapman so I emailed them. They said my application is currently under review. I don't know if that is good or bad.

At this point, realistically I'd say your chances to get off waitlist for Fall is slim. You may have a chance for the 2016 cohort but I, too, am waiting for any correspondence from them. However, I'm not too worried though as I've already been accepted somewhere else but Chapman is still an option so I don't have to move out-of-state.

Chapman has been the worst school at communicating an applicants status during this process by far

I agree with SnowyDPT. I don't know if I should reapply this July! I don't know if applying again will mess with my currently pending application -_-
Just the thought of having to go through the application process all over again is making me nauseous >__<
