How far apart are two charges (A= 10 uC and B= 12 uC) if the electric potential measured at point C midway between them is 10 V?

Answer: 4 * 10^4 m
Source: TPR

I woulld do this: [A]---------[C]----------

so Voltage= k(q1)/r

r= k (q1)/ voltage

for A to C I get 9 * 10^3 m
for B to C I get 1.08 * 10^4 m

I add them and I get 2 * 10^4 meteres .....I dont know how they got their answer
