Just curious... how would you indicate an extra tooth on a chart where you also indicate restorations, etc...

i've seen it labeled 3a or 3.5 (depending on the # of course)

A patient I saw last week had 8 wisdom teeth! Now would you number the extra teeth on the chart? 0, 16.5, 16.75, 33?

This is what I do in my office for generally #'s 2-15, 18-31 and then if there's an extra wizzy or two or three, then a circle around an S in the location of the extra wizzy goes in the chart on the computer
