Hey guys,

I'm checking up on the schools I didn't hear from...so now my Umich status page says:

Application Status as of 01/15/2003
We cannot make an admissions offer to you this year. We are closing your file and you will receive official notification of this status.

Anyway, I'm not surprised, but you should check up on it if you are still waiting to hear from Umich.

Hmm...mine's still the same as it was in July, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time until it changes to the one you got.

are these all pre-interview rejections?.....i dont think they have given out any post - interview ones......also, dont hold your breath to get off the waitllist anytime soon......atlest this is the impression i got when i called the office a few days ago......they said about 20 or so spts remanied and that they were waitlisting most applicatns and then giong to wait til the 'dust settles' before making more offer......................but keep your head up, you never know.......

Yeah, these are pre-interview rejections from our status pages. Why do they bother taking so long to reject us...my Michigan page hasn't changed since 7/17/02.
