So I sent my checks to UDM, NYU, Creighton, and Marquette the 8th of this month and none of them have confirmed the receipt nor they have been cashed. Is this normal? I am really worried they got lost in the mail or something. :scared:

EDIT UPDATE 7/20/13: : Creighton just cashed my check
EDIT UPDATE 7/29/13: All of the schools have cashed the checks as of 7/26 🙂

Some schools seem to take a really long time. I sent mine in early June to UNC and still nothing. From previous threads, though, it looks like it took them MONTHS to cash most checks. Some people didn't have theirs cashed until after they were rejected (which was 3-4 months after they applied).

Hey I applied to those schools as well at roughly the same time, and my checks have yet to be cashed. I believe this is normal due to the massive number of applicants so i wouldn't worry, but i'm only speaking from my experience so take it with a grain of salt. Also my concern is that I also sent a check to UDM but i received an e-mail stating to only send in a money order, I wonder if they will accept it. GL my friend.

Yup, they take a super long time. For Marquette though, I sent in the check the same week as AADSAS opened and they cashed it right away but don't be alarmed if they take close to a month after they have received it to process it.

Make sure to send any future checks/materials through certified mail so you can track and confirm the arrival.

Wow, that sucks! There should be a centralized supp fee system to solve this problem of checks. They could use PayPal! 😀
